i picked up a jadatoys rx-7 today for about 25 dollars and all i could really think to do to it was to convert the doors to lambo style. that's all the mods it has right now. if you would like to suggest any other mods, see more pictures, or comment on my work then please do!

put the door pannels back on and make it a more street look other like i dont know more road friendly is the word im looking for make it one side ways facing exaust take althoughs decals off paint black and you got your project cut out and take the sound system inthe trunk and make it a box setup and youlll still have space left to put more stuff in like put 1 nice big nos bottle in there. IMO

a small setback today, while i was apllying the paint removal to the various parts with gloves on, my fingers started burning, the remover ate threw the gloves i had on and was starting to eat away at my fingers! it sure did hurt because i had a cut on my fingertip and that started to burn like nothing i've felt before. so i'm going to home depot tomorrow to get chemical resistant gloves so we can get this project back on the road

im sorry to hear that man really i know how that must hurt acid meating your skin. So is the car sitting in the substance right now. Also you can pm me pics of the car currently right now if you dont want to post it in a whole form. So you are also going to do a box settup for the streo right so it looks more streetracer style and one single muffler slanted. That is going to look pimp if you do all that. Keep me posted.

thanks, it's called klean-strip ks-3 premium, it cuts through layers it's supposedly the most powerful, and it works in less than 15 minutes

You need the thick blue gloves. They can withstand most junk. We used them in school, and were usin alot stronger chemicals. Are you gonna primer the body? Keep up the awsome progress.

i've offically finished the spoiler holes on the trunk and the holes from the mirrors. i was just looking at the body one last time before i painted it and realized that there were fake cut outs of tailights on the back so i broke out the bondo and filled those and also filled some lines up. all i have to do is sand those down then it's time for paint.
i have sand these down:

and i'm done with these:

ok, i'm just letting everyone know that this project is still in progress!!! things basiccally stopped with the car when i started school but i finally found some time to do a few things with it, i've got the trunk fully painted, i removed the passenger seat, custom made diamond plate for where the pass. seat was and put a nos bottle there, and i just finished sanding the bondo, primed the body and layed down the first coat of black. hopefully the body itself will turn out as good as the trunk did. soon to come after i get some money and go to home depot i am to finish the lambo doors completely and paint them. i will probably be buying another one of these models for parts just becasue i lost so much of them. thanks and wish me luck on the paint!!

i still have to paint and cut the doors and i'm going to buy a whole other model to get the headlights off of and get a few other things off, then it will be finished.

If you paint it a cobalt blue it would look insane with chrome rims. My Rx-7 is a dark purple with metallic flame and looks cool. I put gold wheels on it since this picture. P.S. Can you post a tutorial and pictures on how to do the lambos? The tutorial on the forum doesn't have pictures.

nice work man .. the only thing i would do is take that giant NOS tank out of the back and put it in the passenger seat instead of the small one

TheBenzon

also one more tip keep the big nos and take the little one out and make it a fire extingusher and put a passenger seat there if you do make it a fire extingusher put it between the two small subs where the 2 wholes are just a tip.
