What is a good quiet exhaust that will still give me some power?

The n1 is not quiet at all. You may still have the silencer on. I own the n1, fucking loud as hell

The way I see it is this: Quieter= more restriction and less power, Louder= less resriction, more power. I know thats not always true, but I doubt you will have a stock sounding exhaust and get much hp out of it. I would get whatever kind you want that has a silencer and leave the silencer in it, shouldnt be too loud, but it will hum.

the Thermal Research and Development cat-back is the quietist for our car, and sounds fantastic, you can't even hear it idle.

The reason for this is because hes turbo and youre not. The turbo acts as a natural muffler, so our cars wont be nearly as loud as the n/a models. Im getting my cat delete rnr turboback in the mail soon hopefully. Ill let you know how it sounds.

I have an N1 on my 01 eclipse, and that thing is loud inside the car especially when the engine has been running for a while.
It's not as loud from the outside though.

Only get the n1 if you want your exhaust coming out on an angle. Mine isn't too extreme, but definately not straight, it is part of its design.

yeah i also have the N1, but i kinda like the little angle its not too much. I have see MUCH worse! i have seen some that are like almost comming out the SIDE of the car! I'm happy with the N1.

My friend has a megan catback. That bastard comes out a wicked angle. I dont mind it though, it looks ok. The whole catback has one bend. We dont know how it sounds yet, theres a minor ~16" exhaust leak ;) (no cat/test pipe). Its so damn loud. Sounds like a fuckin airplane.

I have the tsudo N1 on my gst. It comes with the silencer and is not too loud without it in. Comes out with a slight angle and will fit on easily enough.
