I don't like 95s, so my opinion would be biased :)
Its worth it, if you like the car. Car is really worth what you are willing to pay for it.

Take a good look at it, if it really is in excellent condition it's a good price.
Keep in mind, a '95 'vert will be kinda slow compared to some 'stangs, but the 5.0 is really easy to work on and will wake up with some simple mods.

Is it slower because it is a vert? Would it be faster than a 4.6Liter convert. I don't really need anything fast, just wondering, b/c this would be my first car.

the vert would be slower than the coupes. Not 6cyl slow, but if your racing its noticeable.
