me, my friend, and my friends brother were all heading down to mansfield to go to the haunted prision, which is the same place where shawshank redemption was shot. any ways its a lil over an hour away from where i live.
on the freeway on the way home i see a 1st gen eclipse with black rims and a fart can trying to merge onto the freeway, so i let him in front of me in the left lane (2 lane highway) there were cars all around us going kinda slow so hes switching between the left and right lanes to pass (while not cutting any one off) and i just stay right behind him going about 80 mph just waiting for the highway to clear up.
finally we get in front of all the traffic and he pulls over to the right lane, i stay in the left lane and just pull up right next to him and ride there for like 30 seconds while me and my friend were both looking over at him to try to race...now we have a wide open freeway and were riding right next to each other and he wont go. so finally i jus speed up to about 90 and pass him. i go till im about 5 cars in front of him. then i just slow back down.
next thing i know hes pulling up on me fast. hes trying to pull a ricer fly-by!! so when hes about 2 cars back from me i go WOT and stop his pull when hes right around my rear bumper and then i start to pull on him and i pull on him hard. i take it up to about 100 ( from about 75 ) and hes a good buslength or so back. then he comes flying up on me again this time i was crusing at 80mph so my car was a bit slower when i tried to go. were both going WOT and it looks like hes going to pass me. his front bumper is at about the middle of my car, then when i hit 100 i start to pull on him again and i take it all the way up to 120 ( about 4 car lenghts ahead ) and just hit my hazards to let him know he just lost...again.
this time he didnt try to even drive next to me again...i guess he finally gave up
so maybe not really a race...but a prevention of a fly-by good enough for me...ill call it a win

Cool, I remember my first highway run, well not really...priceless moments that have been forgotten thanks to liquor.
