I was wondering if anyone has tried taking either their front two doors or all 4 doors off their xterras in the summer. If you have any infromation on this, post a reply. Thanks

Why, what do you do when it rains? It's not like putting them back on is a quickie job like a Jeep...

Ok, i checked out the doors and it look like its pretty easy to get them off, just a couple of bolts. whats about the wiring though? is it just a single wiring harness that I can disconnect?

Well you have more guts than me. I get enough mud in my truck with the windows down, and if there isn't mud, then it's dust coating the inside of my truck. I always figured one of the benfits of offroading an Xterra over a lot of ther other vehicles out there was keeping the windows up and the AC on when it gets nasty. But then in Colorado you guys just have steep forest service roads with softball sized rocks on 'em. :icon16:

Here's a Frontier that did it...

I recall seeing a couple of large wiring connectors right there on the door frame, looked like it wasn't too difficult to reconnect things.

Alright fellas thanks for the info.. I'm not too worried about mud or dust or anything, if I go offraoding ill put the doors back on but I live in a pretty residential area so it shouldn't bee too bad. If the weather is anything but gorgeous I'll just take out my mom's car. Thanks again. P.S. That Frontier is insane.

What's the snorkel for? Seems like if he gets in enough water to use it, he's got more problems in the cabin.

I dunno, he's got a Calmini SAS on it, guess he's going for the complete mod list...
