94 countour starts then shuts off

I have a 94 contour that starts fine but shuts off right away sometime when cold it will run for a bit then shut off. The only way to keep it from shutting off is to give it gas. I checked for vacuum leaks, cant find any. The check engine light comes on. I had it read and was told to replace the IAC, EGR and another part cant remember the name. I replaced the IAC already but still the same thing. any ideas?

If you still have the stock fuel pump and filter, I think I would check that next.

Btw, theres no such thing as a 94 Contour. It didnt come into production until 95.
