Hey 240sxSilvia here's an idea:
Don't be a jerk!
Alot of people like the feel of a FWD car, not everyone wants a RWD.Some people can be real ignorant about these things.
But back to the post at hand...with $135...hm......i would prolly recommend an Injen cold Air intake, they run in the 130 area i believe and would give ur car a nice sound when stepping on the gas.Of course don't think that it's also gonna give you an extreme raise in performance, but you will feel the difference between the stock air filter and a high performance intake system. When first starting to mod ur car, the choice you have are really slim based on funds and the type of car you have, but with research you will find what works best for your car.

I suggest waiting until you got more ca$h. $135 can only get you cheap parts. Save and get the quality parts, it's worth it.

you actually have the same engine as a dohc neon.
this is a really good thing, because neons are very abundant and lots of people 'mod' them out. so grab a catalog and fine neon shit like crank pulleys and lightweight flywheels and stuff. it's all the same and isn't that hard to make it fit on the GS

no thats not nice
i woulda reckoned a Eclipse GSX those are 4 wheel drive and turbo'd
but its not its a GS so i'd go with an air intake and exhaust if you can afford both YAY probably not so get an intake for the time being

I would say an air intake or a straight trough mufler like a magnaflow. More air intake or less back presure. Your choice. Both will make the engine run better.

What kind of mod are you looking for?
If $135 is your limit, and you want performance then the cold air intake is the best bang for the buck. I know that your itching to mod your car, and wanna spend whatever money you have, but if i were you i would save a little more and buy better quality parts such as header and full exhaust (like mentioned earlier), and then the cold air intake. Those would be mods that you would be happy with, and at least feel some pwer differences.
But that is my opignion. You make the final choice!
PEACE

I would have to agree with Spec V on that, save up about $100 more and toss in an HKS super mega flow intake. It's more expensive, sure, but you get what you pay for when it comes to car parts. Do what you want just some good info. for you.
