the ss didnt come back until 1996 and was rated at 305 hp and 325 ft/lb torque, the 95 z28 was rated at 275 hp and 325 ft/lb torque. the 96 ss auto had 3.23 gear ratio and the 6 speed had 3.42. the 95 z28 auto had 2.73 with an optional 3.23 and the 6 speeds had 3.42. im not sure about the 4.10 rear end swap but i wouldnt imagine there would be too much of a problem.

Couple of things are incorrect there but very close. Any auto SS or Z28 LT1's could have either 2.73's or 3.23's (or even very rare 2.93's , ask DVS) Nearly all manuals have 3.42's (but a select rare few have 3.23's) The Z28 and SS are actually alot closer to the same power than is advertised, a stock LT1 6 speed Z28 will average between 250 - 255 Horse at the rear wheels, when you calculate in drivetrain loss, you can see they were under rated much like the LS1. Also 4.10's will fit in any 3 series differential which is 3.23's and ^, any 2 series ratio which is 3.08 and v will require a spacer or a differential change.

Well that site's way off cause I can also tell you that I took 3.08's out of Kasey's 97 Camaro 3.8 and that isn't on the list either. So its just stating the more commen ratio but not all the possibiltys
