clutch problem/question

for some reason when i shift from 1st gear to 2nd (and it seems only these gears) i tend to hear a kinda clunking sound.... any ideas on what it could be?

it may be that your clutch is slipping at low speeds and works fine at higer speeds...you also may need to check to see if your clutch is even engaging for these for the 1st to 2nd shift...check your clutch pedal free-play (the distance it has between you pushing it slightly and feeling that the clutch vaccum booster engages without you having to push all the way....) Thats my explanation for the AW-11...if you have an SW-20..it may be different, sorry..
