Engine Swapping

I just got the latest 5.0 magazine about Mustangs and it was all about engine swapping, and I was thinking about trying to get my dad to do it, this way when he gives me his mustang it won't be slow as a... Anyways, it's a '94 Convertible, non-GT. Any advice on what to do here?
