If you're talking about the radio code --- if you don't have the little card (in owner's manual) with the 4-digit code you have to get the serial number off the top of the radio. DON'T GO TO THE DEALERSHIP!!!!! They will charge you a ridiculous amount of money. If you follow the simple steps, you'll be good to go. Remove the wood-grain covering from around the radio. You do this by sliding your hand into the compartment underneath the heater (junk compartment) and pull that out -- carefully. It will pop right out. Get the serial number from the top of the radio and call Concord Mitsubishi in California. Google will provide the number for ya. Ask for the parts dept. Tell them you need your radio code, give the serial number. They will go online with the serial number and give you the 4-digit radio code. Trust me, this works. I read it on THIS FORUM, tried it and I got my code. All this takes about 5 minutes ---tops!!!! Once you get the code enter the 1st number on #1, second on #2, etc. After entering the 4th number, hit the CD button and you should be good to go! I am soooo glad I read this forum. I took my car to the dealer because I needed my radio code and they told me they would have to pull the radio to get the serial number and call "Mitsubishi" with the SN to get the code......for a small fee------40 DAM DOLLARS! I thanked the service guy for his time and politely walked out of the dealership.
Good luck to ya. If you follow the steps, it will work! :-)
