Shortage in DRL's

Hello,

I would like to know if anybody else is having problems with their daytime running lights. I have a 2002 Avalanche and I my left daytime running light keeps going out. I have tried everything from changing the bulb, putting foil around the light (which helped a lot but after about 2 weeks it went out again). What should I do....Please help...
