When I try to start the car the starter turns fine but the selnoid gets a little hot, it is a brand new starter but my old starter did the same thing. I already changed the coil pack. Any ideas

I just started having the same problem with my friend's '99, we have spark but no fuel. The first thing you should do is pull out a plug wire and figure out if it's firing.

Listen to see if your fuel pump kicks on when you turn the key. If it does not make sure your filters are clean.

The pump comes on, but I couldn't find a port to check the fuel pressure. I don't have a Haynes for this car, so I guess I'll have to take the filter out and see if it squirts there. We sprayed a little starting fluid into the throttle, but no luck. It acts like it ran out of gas, kinda starts for a sec and dies every now and then. If anyone knows how to check fule pressure correctly, I'd appreciate the info.

the fuel pressure bleeder valve is located pretty much directly underneath the throttle body on one of the metal fuel lines connecting to the lower intake manifold. It should have a black screw top. Unscrew that, and it will expose the bleeder. If you still cant find it, ill post pics.

After u done all the Test ..... VERY IMPORTANT MAKE SURE YOUR FUEL INJECTORS ARE WORKING AND DUMPING SAME AMOUNT OF FUEL IN EACH CYCLINDER...... IF 1 or more infectors are plugged. your car gonna act like there is No Gas...

just an fyi, plugged injectors is pretty much slim to none on these motors.

Being a member of contour.org for the last 6 years and pretty much "seeing it all", i've never seen this ever be an issue.
