I have a 89 Si ( Canadian ) I can't find any visors for my windows, the visors that keep rain out if your windows are slightly open. Several companies make them for 90-91 but I can't find any for a 89. Anybody know where I can get a set?

try a salvage yard, or even ebay might have them.

A while ago I wanted these for my car, a 91 hatchback. The only company that made them was Ventshade. I ordered the "Ventvisor" for the 90-91 civic 3dr and when I finally got it it didn't fit right. So then I found out that for some reason the one for the civics made in canada was different, so I ordered that one. When that one came in, I tried it out and it still didn't fit. This one seemed like it would've fit if mine were an 88-89 which don't have the seatbelt in the door, even though it said it was for the 90-91. I was so fed up with them by that point, I just forgot about em. But if anyone knows what the problem was, or why the canadian one would be different, please let me know cause I'd probably still want them.

Try canadian tire. I know they have them, they just have to order them in.

You might also try the Honda dealership... I have a set on mine that are from Honda... They were on the car when I bought it in 95, so I don't know if they would still carry them, but it's worth a try.

:sun: SUCCESS!! I ordered visor #92740 from AutoVent Shade and it fit my 89 Si perfectly. The other visor listed for the 90-91 civic is #92033. It was about 1/2" short for my car. #92033 looks like it should fit a car with the seatbelt in the door. According to AutoVent shade's engineer, Dan, the models built in Canada have the seatbelt on the pillar and have a narrower piece of trim at the back of the door. The Japanese models have the seatbelt in the door and the trim piece is about 1/2" wider. There is a nameplate inside the drivers door that tells where your car was built. The guy at hondaautomotiveparts.com said Honda does not sell the window visors anymore.

Visor? What are you talking about. Those plastic things that let you roll the windows down a bit without rain getting in?

yeah, my car was made in canada but I tried the model #92033 and the other one and neither of them worked. Oh well...

are there vent visors for the integra windows that keep the rain out when you roll the window down a bit? I never seen them, just wanted to ask around.

1) Welcome to AF
2) This should be in the Integra forum, someone there would probably know
3) Try not to bring up threads that are almost 2 years old
