One of my good firends has a '95 Elantra and is willing to sell it to me for $600. It has body kits, astereo system, new interior, cool intake, nos hookups, a high-performance alternator, and a rear wing that looks like a supra/eclipse. It has a dent in the drivers side door about the size of a basketball, and needs to be repainted due to bondo which has been put over all minor dents. The car is rust free as far as I know. The transmission is completely trashed. It is a 4-speed automatic. He has purchased a rebuild kit, which I believe he is including with the purchase of the car. Is this a good deal? He says by Sunday night I need to have made a decision because by Monday he will start the transmission rebuild, and he won't sell it after he has started.
