Hello to all!
I have a squeeling ac compressor on my 94 3.4l 5speed camaro.
I have just started college and cannot afford gas let alone a compressor repair/replacement. Is there a simple/INEXPENSIVE way to reroute the serpentine belt to take the ac clutch out of its path, so I can put off further damage to the compressor and continue to use my car? OR are there any other CHEAP alternatives?
I fully plan to repair/replace the compressor or the clutch, but now is not the time, but I have to get around...
Any information would be appreciated!
Jack

No ideas, anyone?
Well I went to Autozone and got a 69in serpentine belt, routed the belt over the power steering pump, over the crank shaft, the alternator, and the belt tentioner, and lastly under the water pump. This routing bypassed the AC compressor entirely.
