Hi All,
I am an old fart. Been fussing over engines since chevs 265 V-8 and fords 289's were hot. Now I drive Saturns, new and older, a Venture Mini-van, and may well post about a 90 Chev Suburvan, a 76 Dodge class C motorhome and a '71 Travco class A motor home with a p-30 chev chasis. Ya I am an old gearhead I trained in 1968 at the FisherBody factory training center for - you guessed it - Autobody
I worked at autobody for 10 years - long time ago when Laquer was King and most cars had a frame, Metal finishing and filling with lead was common (bondo was the new and untrusted kid on the block and parts replacers were ...
New world now! My Saturns have plastic pannels and insurance companies expect to replace damage - not repair it!
I work in a totally unrelated industry now. But I still love maintaining my own rigs myself.
