drivers side door

I was begging my car to get me to Penticton and back, which it did (bless her soul) but now I can't insert my key on the driver's side to unlock it! I have resigned myself to unlocking the car from the passenger side and reaching over to pull up the knob. No signs of tampering at all so not sure if there is a quick fix.
