Common Electrical Indiglo question

So I have a '95 LX....I installed my indiglos and they worked well for a while, then they started turning on and off by themselves, and now they are doing it more frequently and for longer amounts of time. Has anyone heard of the resistor box on these things going bad? I've checked all my wiring a hundred times for a grounding problem, but everythings fine. Any advice or experience with the same problem would be greatly appreciated. I've heard that a lot of people give up on indiglos after a while cause they are nothing but a hassle. Anybody agree with this?
Thanks...
Thanks...

my friends went out, (he had a del sol with indiglos) he would be driving along, turn off, turn on whenever they felt like it... but what was weird was if he would turn it to the other color(had blue&green) it would turn on, but not very bright... he just eventually took them out.. the white face is cool, but the whole on off thing sucks... i would get rid of them

yeah i had them in my talon and they did the same thing after a while. wut i ended up noticing was; it was during winter, i had my heater on, the "resistor box" was near one of the air ducts, when i didn't have the heater on for a while they would come on, when i had the heater on for a while they would turn off for a while and come back on and then start repeating more rapidly. it was getting too hot. so i moved the box and didn't have a problem anymore. so far in my 93 Si not a problem and i've been running around the past few nights w/ the heat cranked, but i was conscious of this when i installed them this time. check to see if the box is getting hot or if it's hot when they shut off.
