i have a 1988 monte carlo SS with a 305. i need more power out of it. what are some inexpensive modifications that will get me a few extra horses.

dont tell me you cant get much power out of a 305 because guys with tuner cars can get 400 or 500 hp out of a 4 cylinder.

lol thx bag

oh dude those civics who are putting 400-500 hp down at the wheels have droppled NO LESS then 20,000$

like they said, intake headers exhaust ECU better tires short shifter/shift kit AC delete reduce weight bigger throttle body..

You can't make 'em just 'go fast' for 'cheap' more hp = more money :(

Else if it took 1500 for anyone to make a 500whp monster everyone would have one! =O!

Its pretty easy, you just have to be creative and understand how the CAI works

yes. Tbi and carbs are somewhat similar in shape and design.

cai and exhaust will give a little bit of noticable power. If you put a different cam in your car you will feel a much greater difference in power and response and it dosent cost too much if you do it yourself. You just gotta find the right cam to match your heads.
