Pearl black?

I'm trying to achieve a finish that is slightly different from the usual gloss black. Has anyone tried mixing pearl poweder into black paint? How does it look? Is there any way we can get a very faint metallic sheen into black paint?

Tamiya make a metallic black spray can already....you would probably be better off trying that
