Help with rear end clacking

Hi, I'm new with forum and I have a 1986 735I. Anything I need to know about issues. I have at this time a clacking noise from the right rear end, when accelerating loud at beginning and then less when speeding up. Also I have a fuel pump problem, doesn't hold idle well, etc. Have replaced external pump, but not the internal. If anyone knows what I'm dealing with, I would appreciate advice.
