I have a 95' galant, and i need to know what wires i need to connect so it wont have the check engine light on. There was a box on the top of the stock intake that had a plug in im not sure what it is. Hopefully someone can tell me what that is, and how and what to plug into it. any help would be appreciated.

In all honesty i never thought i would have bought a galant. I always imagined a cheap honda not a mitsubushi. But besides that you intake question is a problem some Si civics (99-00) have when they swap for a CAI. You have to make sure that what ever plug or wire is in the intake tube, from what a local Si owner told me it reads your incoming air.

sounds like its your air flow meter. if its not plugged in the car carn't tell how much air is going in therefore cant injuect the right amount of fuel for the propper mixture

also the plugs on the car only fit the components its meant to be plugged into.maybe the plug has fallen down behind something but if its meant ti be plugged in there wiil be a plug somewhere

yes ive looked into this myself. i own a 95 galant type-s and you need to make sure its a direct fit..it tells the comp and engine how much air is going in and that box cant be removed..its small thought right like 3x3" let me no what u did cause im considering getting one myself
