2nd gear not engaging sometimes

sometimes wen i change to second gear from first, it wont engage and my engine just revs, so i have to go to nuetral then second againand it will usually work. it does this alot. even when im shifting while slightly moving knob to the left. any help is apreciated thx in advance

how many miles? the shift linkage might be out of adj. or the clutch is bad.

76,000 miles. clutch never replaced but feels good. just got her a ittle more then a month ago.
