Animated gifs no longer animated

For some reason animated gifs have ceased to work in opera, firefox, and ie. If I open a saved animated gif, it does not play. Image ready does not even show the layers of the animated gif. What the crap did I do?

This usually has something to do with a firewall - try disabling your firewall and see if they animate. If yes, post up here what firewall you are using and we can work on a solution.

Also, check your settings:
Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, Multimedia, Play animations in web pages. :cwm27:

I think it started after I installed zonealarm pro. Completely shutting down zonealarm doesn't help.

Saved files now seem to play, but the ones gained from the internet dont

I have encountered that problem with ZAP before. Recommend: check all the settings with a fine tooth comb.

Had to turn off zonealarms animation blocker for ads
