crank position sensors/desperate

Can the crank position sensors be "tap out" or drilled out? 1984 528e sensors seemed to be fused in they will not slide out of cranks shaft any suggestions would be appreciated

i wouldn't try drilling them out. go to the auto parts store and buy a can of PB Blaster and soak the area around the sensor. let it soak for about an hour and try twisting them out. it may take a few more applications of PB to work through the corrosion but they should come out by twisting them back and forth.
