vs. 90-ish integra

so here i am again, its been a while since i raced, last time it was against an late 80-ish celica, anyways, here i am after chasing down a civic with an exhaust cannister and si badge, but no luck stopping at a light, so i was gonna head back to my apartment. Stopped at a red light, and i hear this sound, phaarrrtttt....looked to the right and an integra on the right road that was coming my way, he took a right and headed straight up ahead of me, the light turned green and i quickly catch up to him. He didn't have a fart can, but he had a big exhaust that sounded like one of those fart can cannisters, anyways, he was pretty ricey with clear lense tail lights, the exhaust, and even complete with a japanese "mugen" badge from japan slapped under his tail light. I followed him until we finally came to a stop light, the light just turned yellow so i quickly turned right to his side, red light. I quickly revved at him to know i'm business, he kinda shifted his head a little to my side (note: he doesn't know what kind of car i have yet), now he didn't rev back but i can hear his engine rev and stay at a constant rate, so i'm assuming he's gonna launch when the light turns green. GREEN! and we both kinda had a bad reaction time, but we took off and i was ahead of him the whole time about 1 car length, my car is quick 1st and 2nd gear, but when i hit 3rd gear it's a lil slow and that's when the integra started to catch up to me, but no luck to him, i'm still leading by half a car length, he couldn't catch up so he shut down, thats when he saw that my car was a corolla and had that look in his face "omg, did i just got beat by a corolla" :lol: gave him thumps up and left, yea man.....you just got beat by a corolla :)

I'm with Twizted on this one. Why don't you ever respond? I'm very curious at this point. And do you actually no what model integra it was? More than likely it was comparable to beating a Civic. Anyway, you say you won. Good kill. But coming from me, and most members I suggest you best start replying to your own bullshit from now on. Got it?

I think a lot of people on this forum are going on other peoples opinions on this forum. Rice(r) isn't that bad of a member. He doesn't always say the right stuff, but he has some logical things to say. One bit of advice though to help you gain a little love

who cares? jessica alba is still alive....all is good in the world...and i'm calling BS.....no way in hell are you during a race going to know what the other person is THINKING....how did you know he didn't know you had a corolla? wtf?! corollas are common as hell....for good reasons...they're reliable and a great value....but for a car enthusiast to be ignorant to that, is tough to believe...but anything can happen... and an integra with a good exhaust....i think a four cylinder camry is toast....but if it's v6....then i withdraw my BS....

what are you talking about, he rev and stayed at that rpm spot, he didn't rev rev rev that he confirmed he wanted to race, but a long rev ready his car to launch since i reved at him first, anyways, most people dont know what car i drive if they dont see my tail lights and the corolla badge, because i never past him he only saw the front of my car, and it looks like a camry or an early honda civic/accord if you dont see my toyota badge on the grille

I use the gas additive myself. Every fill-up.

I drive a 97 corolla. My engine is quite a bit past it's prime (if it ever even had one) but I can't imagine it was at any point in it's life quick outta 1st or 2nd.

As for beating an Integra, well... it's not incredibly suprising you walked an old I4, if you stood a chance at beating anyone it was a ricer.

But congrats nonetheless, I haven't won any races in my corolla, but I have gotten killed twice:

A friend's stock 2002 V6 mustang, I had a roll of about 10 mph coming up to a light that he was at, and it turned green while I was about a carlength, maybe and a half back. We mashed it on green and I never caught up even with a roll. quite sad.

And then my friend's mom's dodge caravan, he was behind me and pulled around to my side, while his front wheels were even with my rear wheels. I mash it with a 25 roll or so, he's prolly at 30, steps on it too. before we reached 50 (about 20 seconds later) my front end is at his rear wheels. We were coming up to a stop sign tho and he was in oncoming lane so he merged into me, and I had to hit the brakes.

Not incredibly interesting but I figured I'd post my deaths anyway.
