door switches

dumb question but is it bad to let your door switches get wet when its raining or are they somewhat waterproof? i've had my switches out once before and there was no rubber type sealing around them or anything so it got me thinkin if its bad, whenver its raining i try to make sure that it stays as dry as possible, but could it still do some harm?

I wouldn't purposefully dump water on them, but minor water intrusion won't hurt anything (like rain getting on them while the door is open).

yea thats what i meant, jus wondering if its alright if some rain gets into it.
