hi im a newbee here i bought a 1989 bronco with no engine it has everything else it should have had a 5.8l v8 efi hd . my dad has a 1989 lincolin town car with a 5.0 l v8 efi with 80k miles on it that he said i can have for the bronco. will it work ? which computer do i use in the bronco? what else would i have to do to it to make the swapp? any and all help would great also if any one has a harley davidson with some questions i was a certified tech for ten yrs i can help on that subject

I don't know if the motor phisically fits in the engine compartment, but if you get past that....
You should use the computer from the engine that you are installing (lincon 5.0) the bronco's computer won't know how to interperate the data from a different engine and will probably give you all kinds of problems.
what are the smog regulations in your state? could you even street register it with the swap?
Many junkyards sell good engine cores for under $300, it may be easier to just build a replacement stock motor.
