are the motors making any noises at all? if possible, can you disconnect the motor and put a multimeter or test light on the wires going to the motor to see if its getting juice. It could just be the gears in the motor as well.

I have a similar problem in my 91 stang. the driver side window works fine but the passenger doesn't work. It goes down but not up (not very helpful). ive checked the motor, gears, and switches, and they're all fine. Any help on this would be great.

There is an overload relay somewhere in the car that disconnects the motor when it reaches either the up or down limit. (battery saver switch) it could be a position switch in a 91, not sure. I have a similar problem but I have no idea where this might be located because it isn't in the door.
I suspect it may be in the trunk on the driverside fender on mine where the lock control relays are and the security system.

Do you have a wiring diagram? Having an enlarged copy of the diagram makes it easier to read and mark off the circuit as you check each component.
Autozone.com may have a copy online if you need one.

as a bodyman i can tell you if you've checked conn. wires, try manuelly rolling the window up and down with pos, and neg, jumper wires two or three times. alot of times the track is binding with the window, or the regulator motor is going bad, it may work once or twice but it will get slower and slower till it stops.

im sure if i had a 5.0 L i wud have a different opinion. but i had a 2.3 and it was slow as fuck. the 240 rips it off the line and ive never lost a race.
