Howdy Folks

Just wanted to drop in to say HI. I purchased my 1994 Geo Metro on 9/11/05 with 65049 miles on it and I'm enjoying the savings greatly. If there is a downside to all of the savings it is that I purchased an automatic and have come to find out that milage suffers because of this. I'm getting 36mpg and am guessing that is about all I should expect. I did a compression check and got 160psi on all 3 cyl. I didnt have all the plugs out and didnt hold the throttle so I'm guessing the numbers will be better. It's amazing what one can learn from reading these forums.

best i ever got with a automatic was 38 so your right in the ballpark, they really neded a overdrive
