Hey everyone this is my first post, but its a bad one...just recently had an engine swap (same exact motor) because i cracked the manifold and shot a rod...but any way i have a Automatic 4cyl toyota camry 4dr le and when ever i drive the car hard and turn it off i get a "hissing" like high pitched sound coming from the engine. I have no idea what it could be but it scares me lol :cwm27: hope you guys can help.

sounds like a vacuum leak.
Check vacuum lines.
If you can hear the noise, should make finding it easier.

Werd.
Use your ears, the engine bay won't hurt you just so long as you dont' stick an appendage in something that is rotating, or hot.

Tighten your radiator hose and heater hose connections and check your radiator cap.
Check the fittings on the engine coolant outlet for leaks (by block end of the upper radiator hose, check for antifreeze residue). There are a number of plumbing connections there that can leak.
See if there is some antifreeze residue around the thermostat housing (lower radiator hose at the block).
