i must say...although not my choice of cars, (finally fixed my DSM), the honda is a quite remarkable car. it handled quite a bit of abuse. the one i decided to tear up, it was mine. and after my initial words, i do believe i called it a waste...i believe i need to eat those words. the car was far from a waste. a very good car, for what my brother and i had in store for it...that little civic handled more abuse then i thought possible for any vehicle...we would have it on backroads, doing usually around 45-50, and just slam the little ricer into reverse....now, most cars just die....it is a hard lifestyle, and very very unwise to do....unless you plan on getting ridd of it...but, anyhow...it locked into reverse, chattered extremely hard, and then started spinning the tires...and then, just stopped. but, it still had reverse, and drive....we went through about 8hrs of this. constantly being more aggressive and harder on it, and he actually liked the performance of the car....although i no longer own a honda, just bought it, and destroyed it for no reason.....it was a very god car...i do like the look of the new civic, though...sharp, detailing lines. aggressive front end and bonnet styling....smoothed over rear end...and, a note to those of you who use the high octane fuel, and octane boost....there is a gas station, like eight miles from my house...it sells 106 octane racing fuel....i filled the little car full, and added a can of nos racing octane booster....all this to a stock engine...it did have an injen cold air intake, with extension tube, and it made it back to my house, held down to the floor everytime we took off. and, going back home, at speeds around 55-85....it did however, burn something, and the engine was red hot when we arrived home. coldair extension was so hot, i still have the blisters from it...but, i must say, it was a good little car for 2500.00.....will definately want another as soon as spring rolls around....those are good cars. alot better then i had imagined. i just always hated them, cause everyone had to have the Fast&furious look, nothing else done to them....if abnyone wants to know the DSM...i slid on ice, and hit a k-rail....lot of damage, it totaled it, but fixing went aight....but, for a honda....the little civic did good. probably just change the engine in this one, rather then buy a whole new one...

I know you think that people are impressed by this but I think you will find that most people think you have porridge for brains. I didn't check your profile but if I had to guess I would say that you're a youngster who hasn't had to work for a living. If I'm wrong and you are hard-working and throwing away your own money, then you're even more stupid than I thought.

hahah killing cars is awesome.
I can list all the crown vics and caprices my buddies went through each putting in 30-50 bucks and seeing how long it take would to die.

Stupid sure but fun hell yea. Honestly I dont do that stuff anymore but it was fun at 16ish. I woulda kept it as a back up beater for when you need down time with your main car.

Thats all my honda does anymore is sit waiting for my jeep to break again.

actually, i am 29.....and i do work for a living. i just love to tear cars up. it is something that is fun. just to see what they can handle....besides, in the winter, this car could not have gone very far...my winters are bad as hell, and it would not have made it down my hill....so, it was just something fun to do. have always done it. besides, it was only 2500 bucks. who gives a pidly shit about 2500 bucks?

I'm a college kid, and I definitely give a "pidly shit" about 2500 bucks... for cryin' out loud, that's how much it cost me to get my 98 civic and completely fix it up to brand new...

true, now that i think about it. 2.5k is probably more then just a small pidly shit...but, it was my money. i earned it. i spent it as i deemed fit. yeah, i do miss it, because it is one less car i do have. you all have a point. and no, i was not trying to impress anyone. if anyone was so, impressed...it was i. the car handled more punishment then anything i have ever owned....so, no, it is not impressive to you, but to me, it was so....but, now i am in the morket for something else....found someplace else, where they might help me out...so, this post, rather, thread...it is no closed and dead.
