Transmission questions

I have a 1994 Chevy S10, and I am looking to put a new 2.2l DOHC Ecotec in it, and I was wondering what a good transmission would be for this engine, I been searching google for a few hours with no luck (as usual) so andone have any ideas?

they tell you the trans that will hook up to a 2.2l DOHC Ecotec. It's the Tremec TKO-600 trans. But, they're using it in a custom kit car. They say theirs was specially made to fit the engine and kit car. If you just take a look maybe you can find what you need. Thats all I could find. I'm not sure if it's what you need but good luck with your project.
