Power programmers and chips for firebirds

I drive a 2001 T-tops firebird, which looks sweet but I would like to increase the horsepower. Right now everything is stock except for the muffler (Flowmaster) and airfilter (K&N). I am looking at putting in a hypertech chip or using one of the Diablo power programers which are supposedly going to increase the horsepower by 15 but I can't find much info. on these items outside of the two stores that are selling them. If you know anything about them or something better let me know.
Also where can I find a good cold air intake system on the internet?
Please write back with any responses or suggestions on increasing my horsepower.

I strongly recommend a fastchip from www.fastchip.com
You have to send your PCM to get reprogrammed. Its generally a good idea to do a few mods before you reprogram it.
Try a cutout, free mods, and a lid. That should be good for 3-4 tenths.
Then do the fastchip.
I did a fastchip and gained 2 tenths with headers!

A chip on your car wouldn't net you much gain, if ANY.
Fast chips does do good work, in fact, Ed Wright of FastChips is the guy that reprogrammed by car after the Cam went in...
I suggest you check outmy other post regarding V6 mods. I gave a list of mods that could be done to run low 12s.

I would go with the Hypertech programmer. I've heard more good things about that compared to anything else.

Just to let ya know, you won't notice a gain from a Hypertech OR a "chip"
You're better off getting exhaust, suspension, torque converter, etc.

hypertech is cool because you can have more controll over what your doing but jet stage 1&2 also are great for just upgradeing your system...
