ok i cut my exhaust off today, i have it runin from manifold back, true duals, with flex pipe till i get my exhaust system order.... (temp)


i dont have a spot to put my oxygen sensor in, is that gonna caz a problem?like running wize?

when i start my truck it runs fine for a minute or 2, then acts like its out of gas and doesnt wanna stay runin, then stalls.... what is this poroblem?

thats going to cause a lot of problems. If the EEC doesn't know how much oxygen is in the exhaust, it doesn't know how much fuel to inject.

ok so then how can i get the O2 sensor back into the exhaust? caz i have duals on it now, i could put it in the pipe but it'd only be 1 of the pipes..... could someone please help me.. thanks

Go to a parts store and buy an O2 sensor bung. Take it to a muffler shop and have it installed in the exhaust pipe.

well see the thing of it is,im tryin to stay away from the muffler shop, which isd why i did this myself... could i juss put the old o2 sensor into one of the pipes?

yes, it can be mounted in just one pipe, but you have to cut a hole in the pipe and weld in a bung. you can't just cut a hole n throw the sensor in it. An O2 sensor measures outside oxygen as well as how much is in the exhaust, so make sure it's clean on the outside.
