caliper mounting bolt

i was trying tighten the caliper mounting bolt because it was loose and making a knocking sound when i let off the brake. but in the process i broke the bolt. so i just ordered new calipers and brackets. if the bolt breaks how the heck are you supposed to tighten it down enough?

yours probably broke off because of rust or something. Use the proper torque spec's.
