Well I let my little brother test drive it when i went to go look at it. I didn't have my license back yet so they would let me. So i told him to, and to enjoy it, cause that was the only time in his life he was going to drive my car. Now he talks crap about how he drove my car before me. Its funny cause he didn't even get to hit above 3400RPMs because the sales rep.
So when he talks his crap. I tell him i'm hungry and to line up his Civic, cause i'm about to eat that shit.

Then I say DRIVE THIS Bitch!!!

Plus i'm pretty damn immature, so after i put that shit down, i'm nice enough to step out of my car and piss on his car. Most people won't race me because of this ummm lets call it tradition. Yes its odd, but this is my mark of superiority afterwards. Of course nobody dares do that to my car if they won. Cause i would whoop some ass. I know stupid doublestandard.
HeHe

I'll have to remember that next time.

Man i'm just an asshole i guess.

I guess i'm learning how to drive my car now for gas mileage. Its hard to get good mileage out of it though.

yes it is. just make sure to not tempt ypurself to let the car go over 2000 rpms....you'll get great gas mileage...but that tempation will eventually turn into a 1 a day week thing that you floor it.

I tried the granny driving thing, and oh my god it sucks. Keeping the engine around 2k-2.5k really sucks. So i guess its alot easier to do on highway miles pulling about 27mpg or so out of it. But there has to be a better way to manage the fuel without having to granny drive for 25-28mpg. Has to be some mods that can be done. With todays prices, your monthly gas charge is a freaking Car payment itself. Can't be having that.

lol. yea i kno it does suck, trying to save milage. just make the car breathe better(cai, headers, cat back, pullies). otherwise for now check the oil, spark plugs, and wires. otherwise there really isn't anyhing you can do....well swap in a toyota echo engine in the car, but that would defeat the purpose.

Putting headers, cai, exaust will help me conserve gas mileage. And there is only one pulley i can get and that is the crank pulley.

Does anyone know a place where I could get the other pulleys or get them custom made, and what do you know about price. Let me know.

the crank pulley is the heaviest one and you only make about 2whp from that, buying other pulleys would be like masturbating with a cheese grater, slightly amusing but mostly painful

Just curious ever try that with a grater, slighltly amusing.

Is there places that will make them though.

im pretty sure your local tuning shop would do it. but i wouldn't really worry about it. they aren't really important. you could take out the A/C, but im sure u don't want to do that...

No, although i would almost be tempted to take the belt off now that summmer is over. Do you think that could be an option?
Would I be looking at an nasty side effects with that?

im not sure if you can just take the belt off the A/C and everythin is good. sideways... or fugiot might know what length belt u would need. one of the points of taking oout the A/C is to save weight, but as you're going to use it again u might as well just leave it connected...its yourt choice tho....

You have to admit there is a certain thought behind it. If its not that much of a chore to just replace the belts. A/C, no A/C, and vice versa. Without the AC connected, that eliminates some of the drag there on the pulleys on the engine. That is the basis. Not just the weight reduction for me anyways. I like the optional luxury aspects that the car does come with.
