My tensioner pulley broke so tried to replace but my brother screwed the bolt the wrong way so now the bolt that connects the pulley in place is no good actually the housing the bold screws into needs to be rethreaded is it hard to get the tensioner off

To be honest...tension pully is small, it spins at a much higher rate than most other pullys. And during summer at very high heat. A re-thread and different size bolt, i would'nt advise. If the pully goes a-stray, it could cause alot of damage. Try to go OEM. Even if you have to buy a new pully and tensioneer.....Better safe than sorry!

the main tensioner pulley is left hand threaded, so if you need to re-tap the hole, you need a left hand thread tap. IF you attempt to use a right hand thread bolt, it will back out as the pulley turns and fly off.
