OMG! Another polishing thread?!

Ok, I used the search function...didn't find what I was looking for, cuz for some reason I only find things when I am not looking for them. Anyways, I am looking for the polishing thread Primera Man put up....it has pics of an Enzo and it shows the steps of polishing in it. So, My questions are. Is it Tamiya paint he is using? How long do I need to wait to polish directly onto the paint? Can I use this same procedure with the pearl Tamiya paints? Do I need to use Tamiya polishing compound, or can I use something else? Thanks a lot guys!
