I own a 95 Wrangler with the 2.5 I-4 with 103,500 miles and I have always done my regular maintaince and I keep haveing the same problem. Every once in a while I will be accelerating and my Jeep will act like it is almost stalling for some reason. If I take my foot off the gas for a second and put it back down it clears up or if I just pop the clutch it will clear up. If I don't do anything and just keep my foot down on the gas it will almost die and start running normal again. I'm almost wondering if it is getting to much fuel? It don't happen all the time it is only a few times a day at most. I have new spark plugs, wires, cap, and roator and it still does it. I thought about putting a MSD Unit on to see if it helps at all but I don't know. I've put in injector cleaner and it doesn't help it at all either. I hope that someone can help me.

I'd look at the simple things first, namely tune up and the chance you have some water in the gas.

If these aren't the problem, then it might be time to move to check the filter for the fuel pump (in the tank).

Could be an intermit. tps sensor problem. You say it only happens @ WOT? I would check the tps and maybe the cps, but I doubt that's the issue.

Sorry it took so long to reply. I've givein my jeep a complete tune up, all the way from the roator to the plugs and everything in between. I have replaced my inline fuel filter but the problem still remains. If it were water in the fuel system wouldn't the water seperate out from the gas and float to the top since it is lighter? I haven't had the time to change the filter in the tank yet. I tried some injector cleaner and it worked, I mean it didn't sputter even once, for about half a tank and then it started up again. I tried injector cleaner again but is didn't do anything the second time. I was using the expensive cleaner too not the cheap stuff. Could it be that I some how got a dirty injector(s) that are not cleanable? I don't want to spend the money on new injectors if it is not the problem. Any ideas?!?!

Since the fuel injector cleaner worked for awhile, I'd suspect some contaminated fuel. (I always try the simple/cheap stuff first) Try some Drigas or HEET or similar in your tank to remove the water.

Otherwise, you may have a fuel pump issue. These Jeep pumps will work great some days and quit working on others. If you have access to a fuel pressure gauge, I would check to see if there is a drop in pressure at wide open throttle.
