Sun/Moon Roof (? 2 of 3)

My sun roof is out of whack. The river side of the sunroof seems to have siezed up. I can still use the vent function fine. But, when I try to use the express open feature, the driver side of the sunroof doesn't do anything. I thought at first that the sunroof was out of adjeustment. I took the sunroff out and cleaned everything. Then, I tried to get the sunroof platform, minus the glass, to open. Same thing, the passenger side works fine and the driver's side doesn't move an inch. Of course, this is putting a great strain on the motor and actuator. I'm pretty much on the verge of taking down the headliner to figure out what is going on, but I would rather not do that since it involve pretty much stripping the interior of the car clean. I wouldn't have a problem with that normally, but I would rather not have to remove the front passenger seat. I've thought about putting catylyst into the track to dissolve any dirst or grease in there. The problem is that this would also remove the lubrication that the sunroof actually needs. Any ideas guys?
