service engine light after new flowmaster

i have a 2000 sierra 2500HD 6.0 which i just had a new flowmaster series 40 installed. after driving about an hour the service engine light came on. could this be related to the exhaust. any help would be great

Should not be related unless they disconnected one of the 02 sensors and forgot to hook it back up.
Go to an autozone and get the code read.

Maybe the welding gasses affected an o2 sensor.
get the error code scanned to see what it is

that was the problem, had the code cleared and no new service light
