No BS, just HP...

Hey whats up? I'm sorta new here. I used to have an account and then just dropped it because it didnt do much for me. Now, however, I want my 2000 Honda Accord to get some major speeds. Its all stock and I am not here to BS my way through everything. Its a V6, fully loaded, automatic (yes I know that I should have gotten a manuel), tinted windows, and red. I know about cold air intakes, and exhausts, but those dont add enough HP or speed to make it a worth-wild deal. So what I want to know is flat out, from someone who knows their stuff, and not some punk with a 1989 4-door, what can I do? Literally what can I do to make my car faster and get the most HP. And yes a turbo and a nitro system would be a great investment, however that requires the type of money that I just dont have. So I need alittle help on what I can do for $1000 or -$1000. Thanks.

For $1000, you're not gonna do too much. To make big power you need to spend money. Honestly, with that money I'd start with the I/H/E combo. You could do cams I suppose, but you're gonna have to have it tuned, and even that isn't gonna give you the kind of gains it seems like you're talking about. You can't slap on speed and power, you need time and money.

Yea, I am just making sure that before I spend the big bucks that there isnt something that i can't do... But I have been looking for a complete engine swap and that seems to be the only way I can do too much.
