Hi? I went to my LHS and ask if they have Microscale decal setters and all thay had was Testors Setters. I got it for free because all the other turned brown and this was the only one bottle that is still clear and have only half a bottle, now im going to do a test first but what is your opinion on it? thanks

i used it before, but i think its stronger than microscale, so becareful applying decals.

i used it before, but i think its stronger than microscale, i ripped a couple decals with it, so becareful applying decals. Try it out on small decals that arent as noticable to see the results.

If this is the same stuff as Model Master setter then it will be good only for Italeri or similary thin decals, it is weaker then then Microset and will not affect older Tamiya or Hasegawa decals.

Testors decal setter is way weaker than anything else on the market.

SMS is very reactive to Microsol. If Testor is stronger, it will be VERY fragile
