91 Jimmy power windows problem

I have a 91 GMC Jimmy and a power window problem. Half the time the windows just want to stop rolling up or down, but haven't completely gave out yet. Anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

Window motors shot. Check out www.Rockauto.com they have new motors for abour $25.
What happens is that the grease dries up and overloads the motor. There is a resetable circuit breaker that trips and stops the motor. When the breaker cools you can inch the window up or down.
Replacing the motors isn't difficult, but there is a very strong spring involved, make sure you use a screwdriver or something to jam the arm so it doesn't snap back and catch a finger.
If your going to have the work done, buy the motors yourself and pay for the installation. The mechanic will usually double or triple the price he pays.
