hey i drive a 99 civic dx and i recently had the old check engine light come on, my gas mileage went down badly and when i started my car cold it almost felt like there was water in the gas but it went away shortly after the car was warm, usually only happened when cold but climbing hills. So i changed my o2 sensors both of them and reset the computer, i started the car a few times and gave it some gas it ran nice and clean. the next day when i tried to start my car it didn't want to start and when it finally did it acted as if i was not getting gas and then the light came back on.........as soon as the light came back on the car ran fine and continued to do so for a few days, then i tried to reset it again and it did the same....any ideas on what this may be???? thanks

Did you pull the codes?
When you reset the computer did you wait for more than ten seconds?
It might not be the O2 might be a temp sensor.

rule of thumb is..............

pull the code first before spending time and money on it.

How much $$$ did you spend on the 02 Sensors?
