how to put a front bumper on?

i just bought a ed type vader body kit for my 90 eagle talon but after i put it on i realized there were big gaps between the head lights and front bumper. i was told it was because i bolted the bumper on, but what other ways are there to secure it to the actual bumper so you dont have a big ass gap or so i dont have to bolt it on at all?

From the sounds of it, it sounds like you bolted the bumper cover onto the actual bumper as the mount... If thats the case, I'd use some washers on the actual bumper to adjust the height of the bumper cover... I guess? Maybe a little more details could help us to understand?

ya i could use washers but the whole thing is fucked. ill have to post pics for people to see cuz i cant even explain. it pisses me off that i spent 800 on a body kit that doesnt fit and looks like shit. im trying to get another one that will fit.
