Cold and Noisy

My 2002 Expedition makes a vaibrating/rumbling noise right after I first start it up. It seems to have gotten louder and recently it has made the noise at least once when I turned off the engine. It sounds sort of like the noise the automatic brake and mirror adjusters make when you use the key fob. It has gotten louder and I am afraid that something is about to break. Any ideas?

check your pcv valve, i have seen a similar problem before with an f150.or heck maybe you should just replace it as it should be less than 10 dollars.most people dont know that this is a maintenance item that should be replaced every 60,000 miles.
