Could someone comment on my post "Steering Rack". It is about 10 post down. just want to know if a bad steering gear (rack) can cause the car not to be able to be aligned. Sorry it was a long post but didn't want to miss anything.

I'm not an expert, but it may be that the steering rack could be a factor in your problem, but I'd also look for things like frame misalignment as well. Has your car been in any major accidents?

didnt you have the struts done just b4 the problem started? wrong or impropperly installed struts is what i would look at first
